If you have forgotten your password or you want to register your password for the first time


1. Access the following URL: 

https://peatix.com/user/forgot_password 


Enter the email address you used to create your account, and click "Reset Password".



2. The screen that tells you to check your email will be shown.



3. You will receive an email (titled "Password reset request") that enables you to reset your password. Click "Reset Password" in the email.

4. When you see the screen below, enter your new password according to the following criteria:

  • At least 8 characters long
  • Include 1 lowercase letter
  • Include 1 uppercase letter
  • Include 1 number
  • Include 1 special character (!, ?, #, etc.) 



Click "Reset Password".


5. You will be automatically logged into your account. You have now reset your password. Please use your new password when logging into Peatix going forward.



If you would like to change your password

 

1. Log into your Peatix account and access "Account Settings".


If you are using a computer: Click on your account name in the upper right corner to access "Account Settings".



If you are using a smartphone browser: Tap on the menu button (hamburger button) in the upper right corner to access "Account Settings".


2. Scroll down to "Change your password" and click "Edit".



3. Enter your current password and new password. The new password should fulfill the criteria below:

  • At least 8 characters long
  • Include 1 lowercase letter
  • Include 1 uppercase letter
  • Include 1 number
  • Include 1 special character (!, ?, #, etc.)



Click "Save Changes".

 

4. The message "Your account settings have been updated." will be displayed at the top of the screen. You have now reset your password. Please use your new password when logging into Peatix going forward.
